Download and run the wxastrocapture*_setup.exe installation program. Read the license agreement and decide whether you can accept it. Note important information regarding "Microsoft Visual C++ SP1 Redistributable Package (X86)". Click the URL in the text to go to Microsofts website to download essential components. Without runnning vcredist_x86.exe, wxAstroCapture will not run, and only a very cryptic error message is given at startup.
From a web browser Download and install the redistributable package (i.e. run vcredist_x86.exe).
After installing the redistributables, complete the final steps of the wxAstroCapture installation program. Then start the program via the Start menu or desktop icon. See also Quickstart instructions.
